This was our family of four the year before Sawyer was born.
After a stressful, appointment filled pregnancy, our beautiful daughter, Sawyer, came into the world in October. Sawyer was severe IUGR and only weighed 3 lbs 3 oz on her birthday at 34 weeks gestation.
Sawyer was also born with a few congenital anomalies, including a right pelvic kidney, fundus coloboma, and severe hand and foot malformations. We have a long road ahead to include specialists and therapists and unfortunately, surgeries.
